SMCA Online

Online Learning Rooted in Faith and Community

Spruce Mountain Online is designed for students in grades 5–12 who want the flexibility of online learning while still being part of the Spruce Mountain Christian Academy community. Students complete their coursework through our online program while remaining connected to SMCA through weekly chapel, school events, student activities, and community involvement opportunities.

Our goal is to provide families with a flexible, Christ-centered education that combines strong academics with meaningful relationships and spiritual growth. Spruce Mountain Online allows students to learn from home without missing out on the connection, encouragement, and community that make SMCA special.

Tuition Structure

5th & 6th Grade: $2,500

7th & 8th Grade: $3,000

9-12 Standard Track: $3,500

10-12 Accelerated Track: $4,000

Full online curriculum access for all core classes
Digital textbooks and printed activity books
Flexible Christ-centered learning
Weekly connection opportunities through the SMCA community

Grade 6 Package Includes:

Full online curriculum access for all core classes
Digital textbooks and printed activity books
Instruction and support from subject-area teachers

Grade 6

Junior High Package Includes:

Full online curriculum access for all core classes
Digital textbooks and printed activity books
Instruction from subject-matter teachers
Required hands-on science kit
Flexible Christ-centered learning
Opportunities to participate in chapel, events, and student community activities
Optional printed textbooks
Optional foreign language classes including Spanish or ASL

Grades 7-8

High School Standard Track Includes:

Full online curriculum access for core high school courses
Digital textbooks and printed activity materials
Required hands-on science kit
Flexible Christ-centered learning
Opportunities to participate in chapel, events, and student community activities
Course options including AP Literature, AP Language, online PE, Work Practicum, ASL, and Spanish
Optional printed textbooks
Optional dual credit courses through partner universities

Grades 9-12 Standard Track

Accelerated College Track Includes:

Rigorous college-preparatory online coursework
A combination of high school, AP, and dual credit classes
Dual credit opportunities through partner universities
Course options including AP Literature, AP Language, online PE, Work Practicum, ASL, and Spanish
